As a small boy, William Welstead began taking an avid interest in gemology and rich materials. As Welstead grew older he travelled extensively to Nepal and India, to learn traditional processes. Made from Britannia silver and hand-hammered in Kathmandu, these beautifully hand-crafted beakers measure 5cm in height.
By the Spanish artist Manuel Marin this elegant table mobile is made of painted steal (red, yellow and blue) with a black base. Marin was a leading Spanish artist who worked in the manner of Alexander Calder. At the age of 20, Marin moved to London to become Henry Moore’s assistant in making bronze sculptures. Later, in 1969, Marin became interested in the possibilities of kinetic art creating many critically acclaimed mobiles and stabiles, which he exhibited internationally. This piece measures 38 cm high x 73 cm wide.

London-based interior designer and artist Luke Edward Hall has collaborated with Alex Eagle to create a body of creative and unique ceramics. The nature of the collection‘ Friends’ is both playful and spontaneous with each plate being one of a kind. The plates exhibit an individual, well-captured expression hand painted in a striking oxide blue before being glazed and fired. Generously sized the plates are individually inscribed with a unique name and face. When bought online plates with be assigned randomly, however if you wish to choose a specific design please email us when placing the order. This plate has a diameter of 28cm. Please note that this item is delicate and should be handled with care. It should be washed by hand. Dishwashers, ovens, microwaves and scrubbing should be avoided.
