‘Untitled’ in Black, Red, Yellow and Blue.
By the Spanish artist Manuel Marin this elegant table mobile is made of painted steel (red, yellow, white and blue) with a black base. Marin was a leading Spanish artist who worked in the manner of Alexander Calder. At the age of 20, Marin moved to London to become Henry Moore’s assistant in making bronze sculptures. Later, in 1969, Marin became interested in the possibilities of kinetic art creating many critically acclaimed mobiles and stabiles, which he exhibited internationally. This piece measures 38 cm high x 73 cm wide.
